To set a password on Sony Xperia Z1 phone (e.g. L39h, L39u, L39t…), you can follow the procedures below.
1. Swipe your finger down from the top of the home screen and choose Settings.
2. Find and open Security.
3. Select Screen lock.
4. Choose Password as the screen lock.
5. Enter at least four characters to make up a password and tap Continue.
Please note that there must be at least one letter in the code.
6. Re-enter the password and click OK to confirm and finish the setting.
